Before I even started at the agency, I was captivated by the project I now present in this portfolio. During my initial interview, I met Mike Roe, the Executive Creative Director, who introduced me to his passion project of digitally recreating Milwaukee Third Ward's ghost signs — a project that used reference images from the Milwaukee Public Library and the Wisconsin Historical Society. Surprisingly, I realized I had often overlooked these historical markers in my daily life. A week into my internship, Mike Roe assigned me the task of continuing to digitally recreate additional ghost signs using the provided references. My primary role involved the digital recreation of the historical signs displayed on this page, as well as the responsibility of creating assets for social media and award show submissions. A lot of curiosity, experimentation, attention to detail, labor, and passion were involved in this project. This project is a One Show 2024 Awards Shortlist winner.
